- Godly character.
- Ability to teach others.
- Social and emotional maturity.
- Participated in a short-term trip.
- Self starter.
- Maintains a positive attitude.
- Healthy self-image.
- Humble and teachable.
- Embraces The Traveling Team's vision and philosophy.
- Recommendation from campus minister and/or pastor.
- Either graduated from college or willing to take a year off.
