United World Mission has a “mission apprenticeship” program called Expedition237. Participants will serve in Prague or Bangkok for 2 years where they will build relationships, understand culture, learn a new language, and work in a team with others to make Christ known. Participants receive ongoing training and mentoring from a community of long-term missionaries as they serve together.
The mission of Veritas Christian Study Abroad is to provide college-level study abroad programs at host universities while helping students develop as mission-minded Christian leaders. Students who study on a Veritas program will have opportunities to work with local missionaries while they earn college credit toward their degree. Serving others in the host culture for a semester or summer program will enhance the immersion experience and give students a broader understanding of the joys and challenges of cross-cultural missions beyond the experience of a short-term mission trip.
