United World Mission exists to develop and equip leaders, while strengthening the local Church around the world by partnering with national churches and ministries. UWM currently works in 42 countries throughout Africa, Asia, Europe and Latin America. UWM has a variety of different on-ramp programs available to people exploring their fit in missions. Some of those programs include summer and year-long immersion and training programs in Mexico and South Africa, as well as the option for tailored internships with our partner ministries in various countries. Participants will build relationships, understand culture, learn a new language, and work alongside nationals to make Christ known.
The mission of Veritas Christian Study Abroad is to provide college-level study abroad programs at host universities while helping students develop as mission-minded Christian leaders. Students who study on a Veritas program will have opportunities to work with local missionaries while they earn college credit toward their degree. Serving others in the host culture for a semester or summer program will enhance the immersion experience and give students a broader understanding of the joys and challenges of cross-cultural missions beyond the experience of a short-term mission trip.
