Claude Hickman
Executive Director
After marrying his wife Rebecca they embarked on journey together in 2000, traveling ten months of the year, speaking to over two-hundred and fifty thousand students at universities, conferences, and churches, casting vision for the evangelization of the world. Claude is a graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary where he has spoken many times at chapels as well as the author of Live Life On Purpose. He now lives with his family in Southern California, and continues to travel, speak and awaken believers to God’s global purposes.
Todd and Jess
Todd is a graduate of Northeastern State University and a former campus minister at Tulsa University. He has a Master’s degree from Dallas Theological Seminary and a Doctorate from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. Jessica is a graduate of Moody Bible Institute. Todd is the founder of The Traveling Team. For seven years, he and his wife Jessica traveled around the nation mobilizing young adults to missions before living for a year in the Middle East. Todd has exposure in over sixty countries and is currently the International Director of The Traveling Team which seeks to use The Traveling Team's resources in countries outside of the U.S. They have three children, Camden, Brody, and Axel. Todd is the author of In This Generation: Looking to the Past to Reach the Present and The Abrahamic Revolution: God’s Mission in Motion.
Sean and Meredith
Sean has spent the last three years traveling 24 states casting mission vision with Traveling Team. Meredith has joined him for half that duration. Sean graduated from the University of Arkansas with a degree in Communication and Meredith from John Brown University with a degree in Graphic Design. Sean has spent time in India and Indonesia working with college students and has participated in a stateside summer training project in FL leading a small group. He has also taught courses for Perspectives on the World Christian Movement. Meredith has some missions experience in South and Central America. She has taken the Perspectives course and spent a year working for Perspectives as a Graphic Designer. In 2009 they were both IT Project graduates. In the summer of 2011 they lead the entire IT Project. They have a passion to see this generation mobilized to finish the Great Commission and believe college students are the most strategic place to labor.
Hudson
Hudson graduated from the University of Arkansas with a degree in History in 2009. He first took Perspectives in the 2007, and for the last two summers he has participated in stateside discipleship projects. He recently returned from working in rural areas and college campuses in Southeast Asia and hopes to return one day.
Jonathan and Laura
Jonathan graduated from the University of Arkansas with a degree in Business Economics. During college, he participated in two discipleship projects and spent a summer ministering to Muslims in North Africa. Laura graduated from the University of Arkansas with a degree in Broadcast Journalism. Along with working for Fellowship Bible Church Student Ministries, Laura has had some missions experience in Central America. She has also participated in a stateside discipleship project. Jonathan and Laura love sharing God’s vision for the world with college students.
Josh
Josh first heard about the Gods heart for the world through The Traveling Team as a freshman. And as a result, he took Perspectives and spent two summers overseas in India and North Africa. He loves hanging out with internationals, traveling around the US, and meeting with University students. Josh graduated from the University of Arkansas in 2010 with a degree in Communication.
Nathan
Nathan graduated from the University of Arkansas in May 2010 with a degree in History and political science. He first gained a heart for the nations in 2007 when The Traveling Team came to his campus. He took The Perspectives course in 2008 and coordinated the class in his home town of Fayetteville, Arkansas in 2010. He is a member of Beta Upsilon Chi (Brothers Under Christ) fraternity and mobilized students at the U of A after participating in the I.T. project in 2009. He is excited to mobilize college students to develop a heart for the world!
Morgan
Morgan graduated from Kansas State University in 2011 with a degree in Agricultural Economics. He first began to understand the Biblical Basis for missions when he visited a Perspectives class where The Traveling Team was presenting his freshman year. “When I saw God’s heart was for all people—every nation—the entire course of my life changed,” he said. During college, Morgan invested most of his time into the men of his fraternity helping them also catch the vision for the nations. He has spent time in several countries overseas, including Japan, Italy, Ireland, and Australia. Morgan is stoked to mobilize college students of the U.S. to the world.
Sarah
Sarah graduated from the University of Arkansas in 2010 with a degree in Communication. After hearing The Traveling Team speak, she took Perspectives in Spring 2009 and attended the IT Project that summer. Sarah is excited about mobilizing college students to the nations before she heads overseas herself.
Abbie
Abbie graduated from Northeastern State University in 2010 with a degree in Elementary Education. She gained a heart and a vision for the world through the Perspectives course in 2006 and has sought to leverage her life for God’s purposes since then. She has spent time in Russia and Mexico working with youth and has worked in children’s ministry in many different capacities. In college she was involved in discipleship through her church, on her campus, and within her sorority, as well as participating in a stateside summer discipleship project. She considers it a privilege to be able to be a part of mobilizing college students to God’s Word, His world, and His work.
Emily
Emily graduated from Northeastern State University in 2010 with a degree in Elementary Education. During college she participated in a stateside discipleship project and spent time in West Africa and Mexico. She has enjoyed leading small group Bible studies on campus, and getting to know internationals in her hometown. She is excited to help students learn more about how they can be personally engaged in God’s global purposes.
Kristin
Kristin graduated from The University of Texas in 2011 with a business degree in Consulting and Change Management. Kristin gained an understanding of God’s heart for the world and the Biblical Basis for missions when she attended the IT Project in 2009. After that summer God continued to grow her passion for missions as she enjoyed mobilizing fellow members of her sorority Sigma Phi Lambda (Sisters for the Lord) for God’s global purposes. She has spent time studying abroad in Singapore and traveled throughout Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam. Kristin is fired up to mobilize college students to discover God’s heart for the world and their role in fulfilling the Great Commission!
Shannon
Shannon is a graduate from Michigan State University with a degree in Elementary Education/Child Development and also an IT graduate from the summer of 2003. After graduating college, Shannon spent the next year with Pioneers ministering to an unreached high caste Hindu group living in Northern India. Upon returning from India, she spent the next two years teaching Kindergarten and Preschool in an inner city school setting in the the Detroit area while reaching out to internationals that were also living in the Detroit area through a conversation club that she and her pastor's wife began. Shannon came on staff with The Traveling Team in January of 2008 and has been working as our Follow-Up Coordinator as well as a scheduler for one of our teams ever since. In October of 2010, after two years of dating, she married the love of her life Tim. Tim and Shannon met through both doing international ministry through an organization called I.F.O. She and her husband now live in Searcy, Arkansas where she continues to work part time for The Traveling Team while also working part time as the missions director for their church.
Laura
Laura graduated from Southern Nazarene University in 2010. After hearing The Traveling Team speak at her church's missions conference, she attended the IT Project in 2009. She has since assisted in coordinating Perspectives in her hometown. She loves spending time with international students and hopes to one day go overseas.
Page
Page is a 1999 graduate of Delta State University with a degree in Chemistry and Biology. She also completed the Perspectives course in Spring of 2000. She has been mobilizing college students by planning short-term mission trips, foreign stint teams, student conferences and summer projects. Page has been working with The Traveling Team since 2004.
